After Moving from the rugged landscapes of Idaho and Montana to the Midwest, I found myself in a season of reinvention. Burned out from the frantic pace of the apparel industry, I sought a new way to translate "peace within" message I always championed. I committed to just 15 minutes of creativity a day- a practice that blossomed into a liberating dance with new materials and deep emotions. While my work began with childlike memories , it has evolved into soulful exploration of identity. I often start a canvas with song lyrics or quotes, layering over them the colors and texutres I observe while walking my dogs around the lake. Growing up with a hearing loss gifted me a unique perspective: I hear with my eyes. This makes me a keen observer of the worlds patina and the hidden Lines in people and places. In my studio, these observations melt into abstractions, allowing the underlying emotion to take hidden stage.

CV Emerging artist in year five of making paintings available to collectors Moved to a new state not knowing a soul and started with intention to bring my creative side back into my life. Born and raised in California but missed the PNW so bad with life changes that I needed to bring it back to life through my paintings
